Oyster mushrooms:
The  purpose  of  this  guidebook  is  to  be  a  resource  for  people  interested in  growing  oyster  mushrooms.  The  methods  used  are  low  tech  with minimal  cost.  Cultivating  oyster  mushrooms  on  straw  can  be  done with  little  up  front  investment.

 Oyster  cultivation  on  straw  is  much faster  than  cultivation  of  shiitake  or  oyster  on  logs. Straw  cultivation  can  be  done  indoors  allowing  for  consistent  year round  production.  This  method  allows  a  potential  mushroom  farmer  to gain  experience  and  grow  a  customer  base  with  minimal  investment.
